The HBO television play is airing in Italy at a faster ce than in other territories, with the fifth and sixth events being broadcast last week.
Once the UK catches up, fans last will and testament see several characters involved in a romp, including the Pontiff’s close beau Cardinal Dussolier, played by Scott Shepherd.
“I think it’s the most plain TV scene I’ve seen,” TV blogger Tony Fulham said.
“Shows delight in Game of Thrones have explicit sex but those scenes have nothing on this.”
As quoted by TNI Request, he added: ”It’s quite shocking. At one stage, Dussolier is having sex with the maidservant while the other guy is having sex with him.
“I’ve never seen anything relish it.”
The Young Pope launched late last month on Sky Atlantic in the UK, and roles Law and Shepherd alongside Diane Keaton and Silvio Orlando.
The ten- rt series is Law’s biggest small-screen jut out to date, after he built a strong career in movies.
Promoting the series, he recently treat of on The Graham Norton Show about growing up with what he identified a “girl’s name”.
“It’s not the easiest name to grow up with in South East London to be absolutely honest – a blond annoying little boy wanting to be an actor called Jude,” he quipped.
“There were some perks although. When I was about 17 I got asked to join this national the stage com ny and I was put in the girls’ dormitory because they assumed I was a girl, which was fee by me! I kept quiet for a couple of nights!”
The Young Pope airs on Sky Atlantic on Thursdays at 9pm.
