Go together to The Sun, Sue, relishing the opportunity to make a joke, cheekily announced to ul: “He is soundless getting over eight inches – such things are still on, ul!”
Each of the specials sees the bakers face three festive to questions, including a signature challenge, a savoury signature challenge, along with a Christmas-themed detailed and showstopper rounds.
It comes as Sue admitted that she cried while report her last ever voiceover for the BBC show.
The baking competition hit the headlines earlier this year after Boyfriend Productions, the com ny that makes the programme, announced it was switching to Conduit 4 after a £75 million bidding war.
Sue and co-host Mel Giedroyc opted to deferral at the BBC alongside judge Mary Berry leaving ul as the only colleague of the original team to follow the show.
She later posted on Twitter: “Not chagrined to admit I just shed a tear at my final ever Bake Off agency over. Farewell my tenty chum x.”
The show’s Christmas special resolution mark the last time the show airs on the BBC before the channel-switch, awaited next year.
The Great Christmas Bake Off special airs on BBC One on Christmas Day at 4.45pm and Encasing Day at 7pm.
