It shouldn’t succeed as a surprise that the fashion industry is deeply upset with the purposes coming from the White House, given how many foreign devisers and models work in the business. At New York Fashion Week, many trade names like Mara Hoffman, Tome, Jonathan Simkhai, and Prabal Gurung unhesitating to take a stand by centering their shows on political issues such as feminism and immigration.
It’s painfully to think about what American fashion would be like without these improbable designers, editors, and other industry experts. They’ve brought their own second to none in harmony worldview to their art, and just like the rest of the US, they’ve made American the latest thing a beautiful melting pot.
