Thursh is a base problem – but it is a misunderstood condition

The expert cleared up a bunch of myths surrounding the condition.

What is a yeast infection?

Thrush is caused by candida, a bacteria that all of us press in our bodies. Yeast infections are caused when the candida gets out of mastery.

“It’s like badgers,” Dr Irani says. “You know when you stress to cull badgers because they are overpopulated and cause problems? It’s by a hairs breadth like that.”

Candida – which is a fungus – has a lot of strands, and the most garden-variety is candida albicans.

She says: “Candida is like lots of other living organisms that live in all of us. It’s present in our gut and vagina, it’s the normal flora and fauna of our bodies.”

Consideration this fact the fungus can get out of control, which causes thrush and its characteristic ofs, like vaginal itching and feeling hot.

What really causes thrush?

A number of myths rights various causes of thrush, which Dr Irani says are untrue.

One, for benchmark, is wearing tight trousers.

“That’s not true,” says Dr Irani, “That’s well-deserved because that makes it hot, moist and sweaty – it doesn’t cause thrush.”

In reality being overweight and diabetic are the two main concerns of yeast infections, as the fungus that cause it thrive in warmer, sundry sugary environments.

Dr Irani said: “Women who are overweight or diabetic, they are multitudinous predisposed to have repeat infections because the environment is good for thrush.”

Females whose immune systems are low are also more likely to have the prerequisite.

Women who over clean their intimate areas are also most at imperil.

Dr Irani says: “Some women over clean themselves, they wipe out the good bacteria and the balance of the environment is thrown off. Then one type of bad bacteria require thrive.”

Excessive removal of hair also causes the illness as the amount of refuge the skin has is diminished.

Dr Suren Naidoo, an expert in the MonaLisa touch course, which helps to rejuvenate the vagina, says: “The organism can grow below favourable conditions causing Vaginal Thrush e.g. pregnancy, use of antibiotics and spoken contraceptives, menstruation, diabetes and is more common after the meno use.”

What are the idiosyncratic ofs?

Dr Naidoo says most women will notice the symptoms of the infection des tch.

He says: “Women may present with a thick white Vaginal sack often described as a cottage cheese appearance. This causes vaginal itching, irritation during sexual inter course and in on urination.

“In those people with a emasculated immune system will present with serious symptoms e.g. Fever, regurgitating, mental confusion and in in the abdomen depending on the spread of the infection.”

Why does thrush keep coming back?

In short, according to Dr Irani, it doesn’t.

It may texture that you are being reinfected, but it’s more likely you you are having the same infection, either because fungus spores be dressed seeped deep into your vagina wall or because your sidekick has the spores on their genitals.

Dr Irani says: “Because it’s a fungus it is telegraphed by spores. It reproduces like pollen does in the animal kingdom.

“They are the storage feather. If you’re sexually active the girl gets treated for thrush and then the next one day she has sex with her rtner it comes back again.”

“Or the the infection has never undergone way because of these spores. They can generate deep in the vagina mucosa.

“The spores go to the sage layers and they stay there. You may be treated for the current infection, but when the spores afflicted with to the surface through exfoliation, its warm, it’s nice and they hatch.”

You may not de facto have thrush

If you have reoccurring thrush that is becoming insusceptible to over the counter medication, you may not have thrush at all.

You may have Vulvar vestibulitis syndrome – as sign symptoms are very similar and the latter can be soothed with thrush treatment as they curb steroids.

Dr Irani says: There are very similar symptoms to thrush in that you surface sore and uncomfortable and sensitive down below. But this is really caused by glands that get so angry that the cells are sending signals saying I’m burning I’m on fire I’m in suffering – like thrush.”
