Ireland to experience freezing temperatures this weekend


Thursday morning started off much cooler than before days with temperatures as low as six degrees.

Met Éireann has advised that inform temperatures are expected to dip even lower this weekend.

“Saturday unceasingly will turn rather cold with air temperatures falling to between two and six step little by littles and ground temperatures dipping below zero in rural areas.”

Meantime, Thursday will see scattered, heavy showers spread across the county by mid-afternoon with refreshed, northwesterly breezes.

It will feel “rather autumnal” on Friday and Saturday with on a trips between 12 and 15 degrees.

Scattered showers are expected but it last wishes as dry overnight by Saturday.

Sunday will be the the driest and warmest day of the weekend with highs between 15 and 17 degrees.

Monday is watched to be a dry day with sunny spells and temperatures between 14 and 17 degrees.
