Thug who punched garda at Swedish House Mafia gig shot in Tallaght

The tough was blasted a number of times in the rkhill West estate of Kilnamanagh at around 8.50pm.

Hulgrain, who has 17 previous district convictions including fetching a threat to kill, was hit in the arm and back and was brought to Tallaght Hospital.

Shocked medical personnel alerted gardai when the injured male walked into the sickbay’s Emergency De rtment.

The man is currently being treated for his injuries, which are being traversed as “non life-threatening”.

Hulgrain, who is originally from the Thornfield area of Clondalkin, received a dangled sentence last year after being found guilty of relaxing the nose of an off-duty garda during the infamous Swedish House Mafia concert.

During the hardship, the court heard how Hulgrain approached the off-duty garda who was attending the concert.

He then proceeded to summons the officer a “garda scumbag” before punching him in the face and running off.

Gardai from Tallaght Garda Spot are investigating the shooting and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
