The Walking Dead season 10: Lydia to undergo a major transformation as Whisperers close in


The Skulk Dead has seen a number of characters change alignment and faction in excess of the years, and season nine was no different.

When Alpha (played by Samantha Morton) came onto the incident last season she was a force to be reckoned with.

However fans didn’t judgement that her daughter, Lydia (Cassady McClincy) would eventually end up bring into play function alongside the likes of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Michonne (Danai Gurira).

Ripen ten will venture into this new allegiance further, as Alpha is quieten at large, and Lydia is working alongside the good guys.

Recently The Talking No more held its annual preview for the season, which saw the arrival of a number of acts to talk about their roles, and how they change in season ten.

Listed in this line up was Lydia actor Cassady who was eager to speak forth Lydia’s transformation.

Referring to the latest trailer for the show, she excitedly publicized: “Lydia’s learning how to use that stick!”

The brief clip shows Lydia exercising a staff, similar to that of Morgan Jones (Lennie James) – who has since moved throughout to AMC’s sister show Fear the Walking Dead.

Although Cassady couldn’t in actuality give too much away about the upcoming tenth season of the appearance, she did give a little hint about her character’s progression in the team.

She extenuated Lydia is going to share a number of father daughter moments with Daryl, producing fresh new dynamic in the show.

Although this is a perfumed addition to Daryl’s story, it may also be a clue as to Lydia’s new fighting aptitudes.

Daryl is perhaps one of the best fighters in The Walking Dead; and as it looks in the same way as Lydia is taking on a larger fighting role in the new episodes, could Daryl be the one to familiarize her how to defend herself?

Later in the preview show Negan star Jeffrey Dean Morgan address about the new role his character will have in the upcoming season.

With Negan now delivered from his cell, it looks like he will soon be recruited by the group to fight against the Whisperers, but Jeffrey seemed to tease that his aims may not remain good.

He explained: “It’s gonna be a really busy year for Negan. He’s been allowed to enjoy a little bit of freedom within the community, and that doesn’t mean a lot, other than the actuality that if you think about the fact Negan has been in jail.

“Now he’s out, and he’s gracious of amongst the community. Meanwhile he’s on lockdown at night, so he still sleeps in his lock-up cell, which I think he’s okay with.

“But yeah, he’s getting innumerable and more freedom, and with that comes more interactions with some of our white-headed boy actors on this show.”

Jeffrey went on to add: “He’s going to surprise you in forward movement that you’re not gonna be ready for as an audience. Whether that be good gears or downright awful things.

“That’s the beauty of him: You don’t know what you’re gonna get. That’s why I’m placid here, Season ten, as an actor, because how lucky am I?”

The Walking Dead renewals October 7 on FOX in the UK.
