Talia Bishop (played by Afton Williamson) manifested in every episode of the first series of The Rookie when the show premiered on US network ABC in 2018 and Sky Witness in the UK earlier this year. However, obeying allegations of misconduct made by the actress, Williamson will not reprise the job of Talia for season two of The Rookie. Williamson released a lengthy statement on Instagram resolved why she’s left the ABC crime drama.

Williamson’s exit from The Rookie will come to completion in season two.
The Rookie doesn’t premiere on ABC until September 29, 2019, so zealots will have to wait until then to find out exactly how the individual will leave.
In the meantime, the Talia Bishop actress has released a report explaining why she won’t be back.
Williamson wrote on Instagram: “I will not be returning for seasoned two of The Rookie. I owe it to you my amazing fans to share the truth. Throughout the filming of the drive, I experienced racial discrimination/racially charged inappropriate comments.”
“During the seasonable, it continued along with sexual harassment from a star and the racist commentary and persecuting escalated into sexual assault at our wrap party.”

The Rookie nova shared a second statement regarding the allegations which read: “To my supporters, my friends, my supporters: I want to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. I am so beyond suppressed by the outpouring of love, kind words, scriptures, strength filled mentions and devout support that has come my way.
“One Instagram post is just similar kind those two fish and five loaves of bread. The rippling effect it has had in only a few hours shows how much this world is aching with fair games of racism, discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual addiction all of it.
“I am no stranger to all of the above even before this experience. But it is through this episode and my platform that God pushed me to use the power within me. It just takes a Spokesman. I never imagined so many of us have experienced these horrible circumstances and that can NO LONGER GO UNHEARD.
“We play a joke on a voice. ALL OF US. It is our DUTY to use it. I used to fear the word ‘victim’. I scoffed at it because all I was let someone knowed when these injustices happened to me, was to survive.
“Survivor I am. Victim I am also. A fair game of injustice. A victim of assault. A victim of abuse and harassment. If you have well-versed any of the above, you are too and I for one stand with you and I’m no longer afraid to be vocal about it. We can support together.”

Reflecting the allegations, Entertainment One, the series co-producers, says it has “initiated an independent enquiry.”
A spokesperson for eOne told Deadline: “We take claims of this sort very seriously. We have initiated an independent investigation which is perpetual and as such, it would not be appropriate to comment at this time.”
At the Television Critics’ Pairing press tour earlier this month, ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke also weighed in.
Burke said: “I am hinder, I don’t have a lot of answers; I wish I had more,
“I heard at the end of June that there were depositions, and an investigation has been launched.
“We are waiting for answers. As soon as we learn myriad, we will make a determination based on what’s found.”
Burke also mentioned the follows of eOne’s investigation would provide results that are “independent and incorruptible”.

Williamson has received aid from a number of stars following her statements.
Oscar-nominee Angela Bassett, who has famous in Marvel’s Black Panther and American Horror Story, replied to Williamson: “I’m SO proud of you and exemplify COMPLETELY in support of you. Speak your truth and speak it LOUD! xoAB.”
Personage of FX series Snowfall and CBS drama Code Black Angela Lewis also pay out messages of support.
She told Williamson on the Instagram post: “Wow Afton. I’m so miserable you experienced this. But I’m so glad and proud of you for speaking up. You are amazing and valued.
“Like keep me on your list of those you update and call to action. This should not in the least be. Sending Love, light, inner peace, and joy to you for this part of your trip.”
The Rookie season 2 premieres on ABC in the USA on September 29.
