The Strictly Get possession of Dancing professional revealed to Express.co.uk that Lauren is away in Australia meet on work commitments, meaning they will only have two days to praxis.
Speaking at the King Of Thieves world premiere tonight, he said: “I’m wound up I’ve got Lauren, she’s a really inspirational person.
“Very much a challenge for me with choreography, but apparently she is in Australia at the moment competing so when she gets back we have two primes before live shows which is slightly nerve racking or a challenge I characterize as I’ll look at it as.”
Admitting time will be precious when Lauren redresses to the UK tomorrow, he added: “Our time is going to be very valuable, every patronize is not going to be wasted but yeah two days to get a full dance together is, for anyone a minuscule bit scary.
“But she’s very competitive and she’s up for training 24/7 so I won’t stop that.”
Notwithstanding having a lack of rehearsal time, AJ said he isn’t afraid of any competition from other players.
He added: “No competition, me and Lauren have got it down!
“We’re definitely the most competitive four that always helps doesn’t it?”
Last year, AJ got to the final with Ghetto-blaster 1 presenter Mollie King, 30.
The pair missed out on the Glitterball trophy to Joe McFadden and Katya Jones.

AJ spilled that Mollie has been in touch since he partnered up with Lauren and said she is animated to watch.
He continued: “I bumped into her on the train the other day, which was bizarre. She’s excited to watch the first show.”
