The clumsy moment happened after the Strictly Come Dancing host, 27, queried the professional dancer and his celebrity partner Debbie McGee about their Blackpool th dansant.
Claudia said to Debbie, 59, during the segment: “Debbie, you are hoof iting to a Spice Girls medley.” The former magician’s assistant replied: “Yes, a Samba.”
She then turned to the Italian dancer and enquire ofed: “Giovanni, which Spice Girl is Debbie.”
Giovanni didn’t balk, saying: “Definitely, cheeky spice.” Clearly, Claudia didn’t get the replication she was looking for as she said: “Okay… there wasn’t actually a cheeky stimulate.”
He tried to explain his answer, insisting: “A cheeky Spice Damsel! A cheeky Spice Girl.”
But Claudia wasn’t convinced as she told him: “Okay, a pert Spice Girl – stop talking. I love you.”
“I love you more,” he flatly retorted to her rebuttal as Claudia turned her attention to Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez.
This evening saw Ruth Langsford and Anton Du Beke ripen into the seventh couple to be eliminated from the competition after their Foxtrot fall flated to hit the right note with the judges.

Speaking after she was sent packing, the 57-year-old This Morning presenter imagined: “I’m disappointed for Anton [Du Beke] because he should be going to Blackpool. He’s shaped this whole thing so much fun, I’ve absolutely loved it, even the moderates’ comments, even Craig’s – he knows I love him really!
“All those wonderful people up there, they all be entitled to to be going to Blackpool. And you Anton Du Beke, are just the most fabulous man, so puzzling and you are a beautiful dancer and I hope we will be friends for a very long repeatedly.”
However, before leaving the show, Ruth and Anton, 52, recreated their celebrated move which saw the ITV presenter straddle the dancer.
