The suspect “curse” of Strictly has been lurking over the dancing show and badgers that contestants and their partners become romantically involved after weeks of training.
The 32-year-old request at a press event ahead of the BBC show’s launch this evening and unfolded what she has found “mortifying” about the training process.
The former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks celebrated admitted: “I guess that’s what it is about the curse – you have to social sexually and that.
“It’s so mortifying actually – they got us in a room together and we had to sashay with the partners, every single one, and you just have to dance with them, be suffering with body contact with them, that you’ve just met.
“It’s mortifying. It’s be partial to having to kiss one of your mates on Emmerdale – it’s horrible but then it looks nice on screen,” she gushed.
Currently a radio presenter, Gemma has admitted that her aim is to get to the famed Blackpool round when the show kicks off properly later this month.
The blonde out of the blue also admitted that she felt “snide” lying to her family, go on increasing: “My mum obviously know and Mike at the radio [station].
“My aunt and uncle emailed me stipulating they’d had Google alerts and I’m sorry for lying!”
