Sighting of notorious terrorist 'White Widow' Samantha Lewthwaite at Duncan Bannatyne-owned hotel was 'false alarm'


A reported descrying of notorious Islamist terrorist, ‘White Widow’ Samantha Lewthwaite at a Duncan Bannatyne-owned hotel in north England was a fallacious alarm, police have revealed.

Cops probed reports that British-born Lewthwaite – whose husband hesitated himself up in the JulytJuly 7 2005 London terror attacks.

Durham Observe were investigating reports that the British-born terrorist known as the “Undefiled Widow” was seen checking into a hotel owned by Duncan Bannatyne, the Teesside Gazette researches.

The world’s most dangerous terrorist, Samantha Lewthwaite, was said to enjoy booked into Bannatyne’s Hotel in Darlington on Boxing day.

A witness reportedly told police a lady resembling the woman, also known as Sherafiyah Lewthwaite, signed into the hotel which is owned by Yarm businessman and Dragon’s Den hero Duncan Bannatyne.

Durham Police, who were investigating the report, im rted the CCTV and the guest’s car registration were looked at as rt of the investigation .

Monitor have today said that the “White Widow” was not seen in Darlington inimical to local reports.

A spokesperson said: “Following the reported sighting on 26th December, 2015, at Darlington of Samantha Leuthwaite, enquiries tease been conducted and police are satisfied that the person reported is not Samantha Lewthwaite.”
