New lockdown rules: What is reopening on April 12?


The next measure will take place on Monday, April 12.

On Monday, Boris Johnson published the vaccine rollout and progress of the virus across the country is progressing beyond, meaning the country will be able to lift lockdown restrictions on April 12.

Mr Johnson pronounced: “The net result of your efforts and the vaccine rollout is that I can today corroborate that from Monday, April 12, we will move to Travelling b stairway Two of our roadmap – reopening shops, gyms, zoos, holiday campsites, special care services like hairdressers and, of course, beer gardens and out of doors hospitality of all kinds.

“And on Monday, April 12, I will be going to the pub myself – and cautiously but irreversibly remove a pint of beer to my lips.

“We’re also increasing the number of visitors to tend homes from one to two – to allow residents to see more of their loved ones.

“We muse over that these changes are fully justified by the data, which fair we are meeting our four tests for easing the lockdown as Chris will immediately explain.”
