Constabulary were called to reports of a serious assault at around 2.20am this morning at the Sandford Festival rk, near Poole, in Dorset.
The victim, a man, was found dead at the about.
He is yet to be identified and his next of kin have not yet been told.
Dorset Police put officers arrested a 41-year-old man from Torquay who was believed to be known to the schlemiel.
Det Insp Mark Samuel, of the force’s major crime investigation crew, said: “Following the discovery of a man’s body, inquiries are now under way to organize exactly what happened during the early hours of this morning.
“I be aware that the holiday rk was busy at the time of the incident and I would hold any witnesses, who have yet to speak with the police, to contact us as soon as doable.
“All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
