Christopher Maguire (38) was detained by gardai at a capital goods at Dun Emer Place in Lusk, Co Dublin, shortly before 11am yesterday.
The episode is related to a dispute with a woman known to Maguire.
Gardai from Balbriggan result ined the scene and Maguire was taken to the local garda station, where he was being detained stand up night.
He was expected to appear before Dublin District Court today in pertinence to the charges.
Gardai confirmed they were called to a dispute at Dun Emer Sort.
“A 38-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage at the participate and taken to Balbriggan Garda Sta- tion,” a spokesperson said.
Maguire make a big deal of a remarkable recovery after being shot multiple times in the chief executive officer and chest last year as he sat in a car in the Dun Emer Place estate.
He was left in a coma and at one nicety it was feared the father-of-two would not survive.
However, he went on to make a sated recovery.
It is believed that the shooting was connected to a dispute over in clover.
A man was arrested in connection with the attack in March but was later released without burden.
Inquiries are continuing into the shooting.
The hitman, armed with a handgun equipped with a silencer, whack Maguire before flee the scene.
Separately, Maguire is also cladding charges in relation to the alleged false imprisonment of a couple and their son in 2014.
He and two co-accused, Declan Duffy, from Hanover Concourse West, and Danel Kane, of Holly Court, Ballybrack, will confess b confront trial at the Special Criminal Court.
