Madeleine McCann’s parents say they will ‘never give up hope’ daughter will be found


They praised control last night as Scotland Yard teamed up with police in Germany and Portugal to originate joint appeal for information. Kate and Gerry McCann, both doctors from Rothley, Leicestershire, were shortened about the latest developments by senior Yard officers.


In a account, the McCanns said: “We welcome the appeal today regarding the disappearance of our daughter, Madeleine.

“We longing like to thank the police forces involved for their continued elbow-greases in the search for Madeleine.

“All we have ever wanted is to find her, uncover the correctness and bring those responsible to justice.

“We will never relax up hope of finding Madeleine alive but whatever the outcome may be, we need to comprehend, as we need to find peace.

“We will be making no further comment at all events the appeal today.

Madeleine would now be 17-years-old.

Her duplicate siblings, Sean and Amelie, are two years younger.

The missing girl’s bedroom at the derivation has been untouched since the fateful day she vanished – except for presents at Christmas and her birthday.
