Secretary Mandy Clarke, 58, has been the controlled by of workplace banter about being a Foxes fan for the st 25 years.

“So at the start of the flavour, following our great escape last year, he placed a £10 bet on Borough to win the Premier League and gave me the betting slip.
“He bought it as a joke because he was prepossessing the mickey out of my team because he’s a bit of a closet Nottingham Forest fan.

“But since we won the title on Monday with Chelsea’s pick with Spurs he’s disappeared and hasn’t shown his face.
“When Matt prompted me the betting slip I stuck it behind a poster in my office which be familiar with ‘Believe’ and ‘Everything is possible’ where it stayed.
“It wasn’t until Tuesday evening that another work confrere reminded me and we went down to Ladbrokes to collect my winnings.
“I haven’t even-handed considered how I will spend it. The money will get spent no doubt but what Bishopric have done is so much bigger.
“I still can’t believe it.”
