Iman’s shut down friend has said the grief-stricken supermodel is “holding up” following David Bowie’s undoing on Sunday.
The 60-year-old married the Starman singer in 1992 before suffering daughter Alexandria Zahra Jones, 15, together in 2000.
Speaking near how she’s coping, former model and fashion activist Bethann Hardison let someone knowed PEOPLE: “She’s fine. We’re fine. We’re holding up.
“It comes in waves, you know. He’s a marked loss – not just a loss as an artist, but as a human.”
Days before her stillness lost his battle with cancer, Iman hinted at the devastating word that was to follow.
“Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it turns a memory,” the first of three said.
Another post featured a ripsnorting picture of Bowie dressed as his most famous alter-ego Ziggy Stardust.
With his iconic red skin of ones teeth and pink face int, the ground-breaking singer stands calmly with a cigarette stretch from his mouth as two stylist fit the Ja nese-themed cape.
Her last post impute to: “The struggle is real but so is God.”

Bowie ssed away upstanding three days after releasing his 25th studio album, keeping his 18-month war with cancer so private that even close friends weren’t informed of his struggle.
One of his last public outings was at the December premiere of his musical in New York where he “collapsed from fatigue” behind the scenes.
Director Ivo van Hove, who he worked with on his stage exposition Lazarus said: “It was written that he looked so well, so healthy. But behind the podium he collapsed from draining.
“It was then that I knew that it may be the last time I would see him.”
