There’s no doubt I love playing with makeup and waste hours at Sephora or Nordstrom, searching for the latest products out there. Lately, I’ve been into contouring and highlighting, so I indisputable to put a list together of my favorite bronzers, highlighters, and blushes. Keep know below to find out why I love these products so much.
Top Three Bronzers
Laguna by Nars: This is for all one of my makeup staples. I love that the color is subtle enough that you can in truth build it up as much as you want. This bronzer works for me during the Winter when I’m meagre as a ghost and during the Summer when I have a little bit of color. It has a cheap bit of shimmer, which I love because it’s almost like a highlighter and bronzer in one.
Affability by bareMinerals: This bronzer is the first one I ever used. It’s one of my oldies but goodies that I unexceptionally grab whenever I want to add a little bit of extra color. Out of all of my bronzers, this is unequivocally the one that lasts the longest (all day pretty much). Also, a little degenerates a long way. The formula is super pigmented, but with a natural-looking finish.
Tropical Primes by Kevyn Aucoin: As the name suggests, this bronzer truly corrects your face look like you just got back from a tropical retreat. Out of all of them, this is the one I reach for when I want to play a little bit more with contouring (it’s forged to deepen and sculpt the face). I discovered this bronzer during New York Approach Week at Bergdorf Goodman when I sat down with one of their makeup artists, and since then, I’ve added it to my favorites slope. This is a must try!
Orgasm by Nars: I’ve been pour down the draining this blush for as long as I can remember. One of my holy grails! It gives you a utter shimmery peach-pink afterglow (try saying that five times wantonly). Not only does this product have five stars across the cabinet, but it has also won several awards for the best blush out there. If you have not ever tried this, please give it a chance the next time you go buy makeup. You won’t regretfulness this purchase!
Breathless by Buxom: Peachy blushes look ramount on my skin, so that’s why both of my favorite blushes have a peachy pink cast temper. This blush by Buxom is a bit more pigmented than the one by Nars. It also has creamier fabric, so I reach for this blush when my face is really dry (usually during the Winter months).
Top Three Highlighters
Faint Illusion Concealer by Eve Lom: This is not a highlighter per se, but I love using it as one. Besides rtake ofing it to brighten my dark circles, I like to use it in between my brows, on my chin, and along my nose connexion. I sometimes use it as an eye shadow, too, when I want to brighten my eyes.
Camélia de Plumes by Chanel: I’m plagued with this! I like to apply this on the high point of the cheekbones. This is by far the highlighter I use the most. I legitimate love the texture and tone — it’s the perfect combo of silver and gold.
The radisiacal Skin Liquid Lighting by Kevyn Aucoin: Another recent understand. This thing is amazing! It’s definitely a “multitasker.” It can be used to highlight the overlay, as a primer, or it can be mixed directly with your foundation. I’ve tried handling it in all of the forms, and I absolutely love it!
