Gas explosion fully destroys 5 apartments in Yaroslavl


A gas outburst has completely destroyed five a rtments, located vertically from the initially floor to the fifth floor, in a five-storey residential building in Russia’s burg of Yaroslavl, spokesperson for the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry’s Yaroslavl sphere branch Vera vlova told Interfax.

An alert about a household gas increase at 25/9, Sudostroiteley Street was received at 4:20 a.m. on Feb. 16. It was initially banged that the blast had caused the side rt of a five-storey four- rt residential structure to collapse, but the Emergency Situations Ministry’s regional branch told Interfax later that, harmonizing to preliminary reports, one section had been damaged.

The latest information to hand indicates that at least four people were killed and another four were hospitalized with offences.
