Florida shooting: Cruz is ‘broken and feels victim’s pain’ claims public defender

The US ready massacre in Parkland Florida, this week was the deadliest school injuring since Sandy Hook in 2012. 

Nikolas Cruz, who has been charged with 17 trusts of premeditated murder, is a “broken human being”, the defence has claimed. 

Open defender Melissa McNeill said Cruz feels the pain in the community check out the horrific shooting. 

She said: “He’s a broken human being. He is a broken woman.

“The dispiritedness that this community is feeling. 

“I mean, my children, they go to creed in this community. I feel horrible for those families. 

“Mr Cruz strokes that pain.”

The 19-year-old is accused of opening fire with an AR-15 burgle at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, firing into five classrooms, on Wednesday.

The FBI has permitted bungling a tip-off it received more than a month ago about Cruz.

In a announcement issued today, the FBI said: “Under established protocols, the information provided by the caller should bear been assessed as a potential threat to life.

“The information then should would rather been forwarded to the FBI Miami field office, where appropriate investigative not in harmonies would have been taken. We have determined that these covenants were not followed.”

The attack is the deadliest school shooting since 26 woman were killed at Sandy Hook in 2012.
