Fancy getting fit at sea? MSC Cruises launches new Wellness Experience

The onboard try sessions and nutrition options will be available as rt of the normal play ups of a cruise holiday.

The industry-first comes thanks to a new rtnership with Technogym, a unequalled wellness com ny that has supplied equipment for the Olympic Games since Sydney in 2000.

After enlisting a cruise, ssengers will be able to complete the Aspiration Finder – an online questionnaire developed by Technogym’s dig into de rtment – to create an Aspiration Map.

This will be the basis of the ssenger’s onboard derogatory programme, which will include a one-to-one appointment with the des tch’s senior trainer.

During the in-depth consultation the trainer will use a density scale analyser test and the ship’s doctor will carry out a well-being check.

All the information will then be used to create a personal wellness broadcast using the onboard swimming pools, gym and outdoor facilities such as the operation track.

ssengers will also be able to book a place in a new sort of exercise classes designed around Technogym’s ARKE equipment for middle and bodyweight training, plus the Technogym Group Cycle class.

Other new adequacy classes such as Bella Barre and Hula Fit will also be began to complement the existing Tai Chi, Pilates and yoga classes.

Timetables for the group extractions will be coded to help ssengers select the correct activity for their Longing Profile.

There will also be new excursions specifically for Wellness Exposure rtici nts, such as hiking up Mount Floiena in Norway, beach staff in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, taking a cycling tour of Denmark’s capital Copenhagen and rallel with jogging around the original Olympics site in Greece.

In Mexico there compel also be a triathlon available in Cozumel, consisting of kayaking, running and snorkeling.

Wellness menu selections will be available in the buffet restaurants and the main restaurants will tender healthy eating options clearly marked on the menus.

A new range of protein and zip drinks will also be available at the MSC Aurea S bar.

Wellness Experience voyagers’ cabins will be provided with an exercise mat, sports clothes and frolics towel, while the mini-bars will include sports drinks.

More than ever notwithstanding a sports clothes laundry service will be included, and a dedicated TV furrow with videos by Technogym experts will be available.

The Wellness Experience can now be ticketed for cruises that start from April 2017.
