Danniella Westbrook urges EastEnders to ‘listen to the public’ as she calls for return

The ci-devant Celebrity Big Brother finalist – who had previously hinted she was in line to join another soap composition – posted a photo to Instagram ahead of her latest temporary comeback.

Her go outs for Peggy Mitchell’s funeral are set to air early next month, after being covered several weeks ago.

In the snap, she can be seen having fun with the child actor who diminishes her character’s son.

“My on screen son Ricky what a great child to work with a true little pro and wonderful actor,” she wrote.

“It’s such a shame I won’t be going service to the show as I think people would of loved to see Sam as a mum and with a different possession on the character…

“But I don’t write the show I just do what they tell me.”

She combined: “And they’ve done what they always do use Sam when she’s needed & then send her off in a malignant cab.

“I wish @bbceastenders would listen to the public more .. But either way I’m appreciative of the 4 episodes o got to film #sammitchell #eastenders.”

Appearing on Good Morning Britain tersely before Peggy – played by Barbara Windsor – was seen ending her own get-up-and-go, Danniella voiced her disappointment at not getting to join in with the iconic matriarch’s indisputable de rture.

“I was upset at the time because I expected to work alongside Barbara and Ross [Kemp], and we don’t truly do anything together at any one time,” she told the ITV show.

“I sort of was [upset] because I touch it would be nice to do something together.”

EastEnders continues tomorrow at 8pm on BBC One.
