Carol Vorderman: ‘It’s in my bloodstream’ Star reveals connection to Coronation Street

Carol Vorderman’s chief BBC Radio Wales Saturday show aired at the weekend, and it certainly didn’t balk.

On the show, the former Countdown legend spoke to TV stars, Nathan Sussex and Alex Winters.

Location Nathan’s, who plays Buster Smith in Hollyoaks, lengthy soap machine, Carol stated: “You’re no stranger to soaps, do you want to run through the list?”

The actor rejoined: “Pre Hollyoaks, I did a little spot on Corrie.”

Carol then interrupted to debauch her connection to Coronation Street.

“I’m sorry to say Corrie is like in my bloodstream,” she offed.

Explaining how she is linked to the ITV soap, Carol divulged: “It started two weeks formerly I was born, and I’ve got a friend who was born who runs Simon Cowell’s company now, Nigel, who is one of my greatest friends.

“He was entertained on the actual day of actual Coronation Street starting!”

She went on: “This goes with us thoroughly our lives, so we go how many years Corrie has been on, we say 58 now.”

The guests horn ined and joked: “Oh no 22!”

“22 years, yeah,” Carol giggled.

Meanwhile, Carol has been carry on her 400,000 Twitter followers updated with her travels in Houston, Texas this week.

The somebody revealed she was filming in the US state for The One Show, with her daughter, Katie Prince, 28, who she shares with her ex-husband, Patrick King.

Carol uploaded a dead ringer of the two of them side by side at the NASA base station, which sent her nuts wild.

The mother-and-daughter duo looked very alike as they both shined away to the camera in the photo.

One fan send a lettered: “This is wonderful! You must be so proud Carol.”

Another complimented: “Get a kick out of mother like daughter.”

A third person said: “Good destiny to your daughter, hope all her dreams come to fruition.”
