A bicyclist was killed Friday orderly after he apparently collided with an SUV at a Wasilla intersection, troopers hinted.
Alaska State Troopers responded to the collision at Vine Road and Raspberry Ring around 6:42 p.m. to find a rider with “significant injuries,” contract to a statement.
The man had evidently collided with a red Jeep SUV driven by 41-year-old Chris A. Anderson of Wasilla, troopers imparted. The exact circumstances of the collision were not immediately known.
Troopers produced CPR on the man until paramedics arrived, but he was declared dead just after 7 p.m., troopers judged.
The state medical examiner took possession of the rider’s body. His distinction won’t be released until his family is notified.
Anderson was arrested on an existing rationale for failure to comply with the conditions of his probation, troopers said. His native charges were violating a domestic violence protective order and dishonouring conditions of release.
He was held at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility on $100 bail, troopers communicated.
