Zipper hitch can be a nerve-racking experience for many passengers.
But one plane journey has been somewhat more unsettling than most.
Finnair flew one of its passenger jets from Copenhagen to Helsinki this morning.
But the tiresome flight was anything but ordinary thanks to the day’s date.
Helsinki Airport’s baggage customs is HEL.
The destination code coupled with the flight number – AY666 – make it with pretended for a superstitious nightmare.
What’s more, the aircraft is believed to be 13 years old.
But in spite of all these eerie omens, the flight landed smoothly just after 12.15pm UK for the moment.
It’s not the first time Finnair has flown this route on Friday 13th.
Conclusive time it happened was in May last year and it’s become an amusing gimmick for limited pilots.
Pilot Juha-Pekka Keidasto said previously: “It has been thoroughly a joke among the pilots….It’s only a coincidence for me.
“If there’s some rider who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always gleeful to help them.”
Of course there are some travellers who would be uncountable than slightly perturbed by the aligning numbers.
