WATCH: P&O cruise ship BATTERED by storm as passengers ‘fear ship may actually go over’

A viral video has issued of a P&O cruise ship struggling in the strong storms.

The Ventura ship departed Southampton and it was during their expedition through the Bay of Biscay that it faced extremely strong winds.

During the video, a bracket of passengers attempt to drink at their table as the ship is flung here.

The restaurant appears to be in carnage thanks to the storm.

The serving staff are also clinging to the handrail

Cutlery and crockery can be divined scattered all over the floor by some abandoned tables.

The serving help are also clinging to the handrail in an attempt to stay on their feet.

Other riders cling to each other while they stay sitting in their chairperson.

The man who uploaded the video explained how elderly passengers were thrown to the storey despite sitting down.

He caroused: “Seated passengers’ chairs toppled over spilling elderly riders onto the floor.

“The listing was such, and becoming slowly worse, that I originated to fear the ship may actually go over.”

A spokesperson for P&O Cruises explained: “We can buttress that the ship was transiting the Bay of Biscay in adverse weather and that a quick gust of wind increased the wind to 100 knots. 

“When the disconcert increased, the ship altered course to minimise the effect. P&O Cruises pleasure never compromise the safety of its guests or crew.

“On occasion it is unfortunately necessary to pilot in conditions which are less than ideal and if this occurs then we will-power do all we can to minimise the impact of the weather. 

“The sea and weather are dynamic forces and any decisions bewitched are in compliance with company, flag and international regulations as well as in the adherence of safe and good seamanship.”

A similar cruise storm was also caught on camera, this one of these days with a Norwegian Cruise ship.

Waves as high as 30 feet hit the set sail, terrifying passengers as they sailed through the Bahamas.
