Very little information has been addicted about the what the new case might entail but Chris has revealed that Cassie and Friendly’s decision to walk away could loom over them in holders to come.
“I don’t think it’s something that they will wear lightly,” he elucidated to Radio Times last month.
“It’s a secret that they now be enduring and they will have to carry with them through their job and if we do get a third series certainly one will attempt to explore the ramifications of what making such a learned decision will be.”
ITV have yet to confirm when Unforgotten will profit but there was just over a year’s wait between the first two series, implication that viewers will probably have to wait until at least 2018 for series three.
