Thousands of euro worth of alcohol seized from Dublin city-centre restaurant


Profits officers seized alcohol from a restaurant in Dublin city converge which was trading without an excise Liquor Licence last Wednesday. 

Carry on under Court warrant, officers entered the restaurant and removed beer, wine and spirits with an estimated retail value in extravagance of €7,500.

The alcohol was seized under the provisions of section 125A of the Finance Act 2001, which provides for the forfeiture of hard stuff products from unlicensed premises.
