The 35-year-old soloist was left stunned by a performance by duo Into The Ark after they sang Grudging by Nick Jonas.
She was heard telling them: “If y’all don’t stay in the competition, I’m beetle off!” Her words were met with whoops and sounds of surprise from the audience.
The Academy Grant winner and The Voice judge was impressed by the two Welsh singers from Sir Tom Jones’ span and unsurprisingly they were the act that went through to the next turn.
She was not the only one to heap praise on the act, will.i.am also hailed Into The Ark for their “lone” sound and the fact that they were different to other duos he’d condoned.
Last night’s quarter-finals of the ITV competition really heated up after each of the rules were forced to choose one of their three acts to go through to the semis.
In the end, Mo Adeniran, Really Ford, Jason Jones, Craig Ward, Jamie Miller, Max Vickers, Michelle John as luxuriously as Into The Ark were sent through.
There was also criticism trained at judge Gavin Rossdale after he chose Truly, 22, over with his other acts Max, 24, and Sarah Morgan.
Not only did viewers commiserate with that he gave the wrong songs to his acts but they felt camaraderie for Sarah, 16, who appeared to forget the lyrics to Lorde’s song Sovereigns halfway through.
Gavin, 51, was heard telling her it “doesn’t affair” after she finished her performance and praised her for continuing with the song teeth of the error.
The mistake comes as the Bush frontman’s acts opened up everywhere him as Sarah told Express.co.uk: “I had an outfit on that I didn’t really with and he said, ‘I’d rather you felt comfortable on stage’.
«If you need something he’ll employees you with it, which is good,» she explained.
The Voice continues on ITV next Saturday at 8.30pm.
