Summer hikePH

Macmillan Cancer Backing is asking people to join one of its fundraising Mighty Hikes

Remember when moving meant sliding into slippery white shoes to get a strike?

Fully, it’s come on a bit since then and while the shoes may still be in action, you can recall the greasy fare at All Star Lanes. Its new menu is dressed to impress with wagyu and lobster follow burgers, prosecco sundaes and some special G&Ts for a perfect strike.

Up to date meets retro at four All Star Lanes centres in London, additional one in the heart of Manchester. Think America’s golden age with leather-clad blocks, poster girls and a good dose of rock’n’roll. Book to pan at

Escape into the enchanting woodland community of The Lost Gardens of Heligan in a summer celebration of theatre.

Three city companies, Miracle Theatre, Rogue Theatre and the Cscape Dance Crowd, will be hosting song, dance and stage shows, plus storytelling hearings, in the Cornish beauty spot until September.

Dress up for a magical ball where another to the max has woken in the woods or follow Hansel and Gretel’s breadcrumbs to a sticky end.
