Bygone X Factor favourite and JLS singer Aston Merrygold, 29, has reportedly joined the schedule of celebrities donning their dancing shoes next month.

Possessing had plenty of previous dance experience with the boy band and even worked as a authority on Sky1’s Got to Dance, Aston’s presence in the line-up would be sure to ruffle a few feathers as Strictly Turn Dancing has previously come under fire for allowing contestants with late training to take part.

«It doesn’t have to be ballroom or Latin dancing live to give someone an edge,» a source told The Sun.

«Aston spent years being choreographer in JLS and that accentuation and ability to follow instructions puts him streets ahead of competitors.»
