Stacey Dooley: ‘My goodness!’ Zoe Ball left speechless by Strictly star’s dance admission


Stacey Dooley has been moving both the Strictly Come Dancing judges and viewers each week.

Ultimate week she scored 36 points for her Couples Choice routine with past master partner Kevin Clifton.

This week, they are set to perform the Waltz to Moon River and speaking on It Seizes Two, Kevin let slip a secret about Stacey.

“Stop, I am so emotional today,” Zoe viewed as Moon River played in the background.

Kevin chipped in: “Thank you Zoe! She’d not till hell freezes over heard the song before?”

“You’ve never heard the song before? My goodness,” Zoe wheezed.

Kevin continued: “Is there anyone in this room that hasn’t heard the to-do before?”

“It’s Henry Mancini, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, George Peppard, Audrey Hepburn, be struck by you watched it yet?” Zoe probed.

“I mean, you probably haven’t had time.”

Stacey looked diet sheepish before admitting: “No, but I recognised it from the chocolate advert.”

Teeth of the fact Stacey has never heard Moon River before, she is still beloved to lift the Glitterball Trophy this year.

Bookmakers Coral aired her odds of winning have been cut to 6/4.

Spokesperson Harry Aitkenhead pronounced: “Stacey is still our one to beat and her partnership with the nation’s favourite Kevin is wealthy from strength to strength.

“After four second place delivers this looks to be the one where Kevin can finally get his hands on the Glitterball Record.”

Meanwhile, Kate Silverton is the favourite to be booted off this week.

“The game is hotting up now and the battle to remain in the competition looks incredibly tight this week,” Harry go on increased.

“This is one of the closest weekends we can remember in terms of the betting on who will be cause to be the show.

“We make Kate our narrow favourite to be sent packing, with the awareness that if she does end up in the bottom two she’ll struggle to dance her way out of it.”

Fans of Strictly Find Dancing will have wait until this weekend to boon out who is eliminated next.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 airs Saturday on BBC One at 7pm.
