Singapore-based ST Aerospace has secured a $30m contract to provide maintenance help to Lufthansa Cargo’s MD-11 fleet of aircraft.
Under the new five-year MD-11 heavy sustention support contract, ST Aerospace will perform both light and burdensome C-checks on the fleet from next year.
Since 2014, the flock has been providing heavy C-check services for Lufthansa Cargo’s MD-11 expeditious.

ST Aerospace president Lim Serh Ghee said: “This eliminating contract is an affirmation of the quality that ST Aerospace puts into its ceremonies and support.

ST Aerospace currently operates a global network of subvention, repair and operations (MRO) facilities in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, accommodating 40 wide-body, 27 narrow-body and 24 all-inclusive aviation aircraft simultaneously.
In a separate development, its US affiliate VT San Antonio Aerospace (VT SAA) has won a contract from Air Canada to offer interior reconfiguration services on part of the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner convoy.
The cabin reconfiguration contract is based on a long-term agreement previously signed between ST Aerospace and Air Canada behind June for heavy maintenance services on the latter’s 787 aircraft speedy.
Ghee added: “Air Canada is a valued long-standing partner to ST Aerospace, and we fool supported them over the years in heavy maintenance, as well as a numbers of cabin upgrade programmes, including turnkey solutions covering put over design, certification, kitting and modification.”
