Ryanair is withdrawing 40 to 50 flights a day for the next six weeks, which affects two per cent of its entire flight schedule.
Up to 9,000 passengers flying with the low-cost airline are set to be played up until the end of October.
The airline says the move is to “improve its system-wide punctuality” after a on the dot decrease in flights arriving on time in recent weeks.
