Russia and the Joint States are discussing the situation around Aleppo in Syria via special approaches, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov has said, combining that any disruption of the truce regime is out of the question.
“The situation around Aleppo is being deliberate overed via special channels between the Russian and American military. It is quite ingenuous. Nothing extraordinary is happening. The most important thing here is that all sides ought to presentation restraint and help bolster the truce regime without any excessive ssions and without building up any emotions or predicting that everything will be disconcerted,” Gatilov said in an interview with Interfax on April 19.
Moscow does not have in mind that the truce in Syria is close to being disrupted, he said.
“We do not recollect so. A truce process has been established, and it is generally holding despite set violations, which are unavoidable in this situation. On the whole, we observe that the lull between opposing groups, between government forces and the opposition is operative in quite a stable fashion,” he said.
