According to the Food and Stimulant Administration, Gerber is voluntarily recalling specific organic “2nd Foods” strike products after identifying a ckaging defect that may result in spoilage during carriage and handling.
In some cases, the affected pouches are bloated and the product internal may have an “off taste or odor.” Unfortunately, there have already been three probes of temporary gastrointestinal symptoms, though it’s not confirmed that these are associated to the product.
“Because of our commitment to high quality, Gerber is working to recoup from retailers and online stores the remaining pouches from the four bogus batches of GERBER Organic 2nd Food pouches that fail to get together with our quality standards,” the com ny said in a statement to the FDA.
