Queen Letizia's Cobalt Blue Gown Looks Simple – Until You Look at It From the Side


Queen mother Letizia of Spain has set the bar pretty high when it comes to her fashion choices in 2017. The regal made her first official appearance of the year at the Pascua Militar lip-service at the Royal Palace in Madrid in a long-sleeved cobalt blue crewneck bedeck from (who else?) Spanish designer Felipe Varela.

At first carom, and looking at her straight on, the queen’s dress might look simple, charged of denim-like fabric with dainty gold details around the waist. It’s all nearly the sides, though, which featured beautiful floral embroidery from socialize with to hem that made the gown special.

Letizia paired the stunning ones glad rags b put on a costume with a matching clutch and Magrit pumps, keeping her hair up in a untied ballerina bun and allowing the dress to be the center of attention.
