Shocked, Lorraine scare her head as Susanna, 46, corrected Piers and said: “She is a BBC Breakfast presenter!”
Piles carried on his rant about the snub, adding: “Even Noel Edmonds rents a nod, Bradley Walsh – who does deserve to win this – and then Stephen Mulhern? Exceedingly? Stephen Mulhern? And I don’t get a nod?

“But I did pop in the Celebrity Personality of the Year nominations. Lorraine, you’re not in that rank because you don’t have a personality.
“We’re up against Simon Cowell, Trisha Goddard and Ampika Pickston in that head. Ampika Pickston? I didn’t know who that was, but apparently, she’s a Real Housewife of Cheshire.”
He combined: “Can you imagine losing the reality TV award for Personality of the Year to a real housewife of Cheshire?”
