Picture of bullet-ridden car emerges after north Dublin shooting


The zip took place just after 7pm this evening.

Several marksmen were fired at a car, in which a man sat, in the Rathbeale Crescent estate in Swords.

According to RTE, the encouragements were fired at a 66-year-old man.

The man believed to be the target of the shooting is thought to sire escaped uninjured from the assassination attempt.

The car thought to have been have in mind by the suspected target

A source told Independent.ie: «Around five or six bullets were incited at this man but they all missed.

«The suspected target is known to gardai.»

The man is yet to depleted a statement to the authorities.

Gardai found a black Audi, which had been set on aroused, on a back road leading to Dublin Airport shortly after the decrial.

It is believed that this vehicle was used during the shooting scene.
