PICS: Gardai probing Kinahan cartel seize guns and drugs


It is settled the seizure was made by gardaí investigating the activities of the Kinahan crime cartel.

A search motion took place in the Ballyfermot Parade area of Dublin 10 on Monday, July 17.

Cannabis and heroin, with an assessed street value of €4m was seized, along with drug paraphernalia, vacuum swarming machine and cash counting machine.

Weapons were also develop at the scene, including stun guns, a sawn-off shotgun and a semi-automatic handgun.

Three males, aged 44, 44 and 39, were arrested at the exhibition and detained at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Bad Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Two of the men arrested are from the south inner New Zealand urban area, while the third is from Crumlin.
