The inform ons are staying open until 10pm on Thursdays in the run to Christmas to give Londoners and sightseers extra time to pick up Christmas presents.
Although opening at intervals vary between stores, a majority of shops have the same cleft hous along the festive shopping street in the heart of London.
This up to the minute night shopping service is part of Oxford Street’s ‘Christmas In the Bag’ effort, which aims to help shopprs get ready for Christmas.
The campaign is heartening to provide “1.5 miles of seasonal style, go-to gifts, in aggregate events and exclusive services such as our OXST personal stylist”.
Here are the start times for this week:
Monday: 9.30am – 9pm
Tuesday: 9.30am – 9pm
Wednesday: 9.30am – 9pm
Thursday: 9.30am – 10pm
Friday: 9.30am – 9pm
Saturday 9am – 9pm
Sunday: 11.30am – 6pm
These cranny hours will continue until the week before Christmas when the boutiques are expected to open later than usual.
Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year so assembles can only stay open for six hours that day. Shops will be thorough on Christmas Day.
