A energetic earthquake hit Mexico City in 1985 on the same day

The quake hit five miles southeast of Atencingo in the nation of Puebla at a depth of 32 miles today, Tuesday September 19 bomb at least five people. 

It shook the capital of Mexico on the anniversary of the 1985 earthquake, which cost thousands of physicals and destroyed buildings across the city. 

The U.S. Geological Survey said the ability was magnitude 7.1, and the epicentre was near the town of Raboso, about 76 miles southeast of Mexico Conurbation.

According to government figures, around 250,000 people exhausted their homes due to the powerful earthquake. 

The extent of the damage of this earthquake is not in a jiffy clear but people reportedly fled their office buildings along the cardinal Reforma Avenue.

Traffic came to a standstill as thousands of workers blocked the alleys escaping their office buildings.

Much of Mexico City is constructed on a former lake bed and the soil is known to amplify the effects of earthquakes. 

The earthquake impact withs less than two weeks after a devastating 8.1 magnitude trembler that was off the littoral of Chiapas and killed at least 61 people.
