McMafia follows Norton’s lead personage Alex, who is thrown headlong into his gangster family’s dangerous quondam in the wake of a family tragedy.
Despite growing up in London and trying his upmost to transfer behind his mafia background, Alex is dragged into it and is forced to create some life-or-death decisions to protect the ones he loves the most.
The eight-part series was annulled by Hossein Amini and James Watkins and features an international cast take ining Maria Shukshina, Aleksey Serebryakov, David Strathairn, Faye Marsay and Juliet Rylance.
McMafia currents on BBC One on New Year’s Day at 9pm & episode 2 will air at the same time on January 2.
