Lynch, a 32-year-old father of three from the Glenshane extent Tallaght, was killed by a car last night in what gardai believe was a study attempt to run him over.

At a briefing this morning gardai said they suppose up to four men may have been involved in the incident.

According to gardai, Lynch fitted involved in a verbal altercation with a group of men in a silver Ford Sharply defined unclear in the Brookview estate and that row eventually culminated with the car being motor over Lynch.

The gang of men left the car and fled the scene.

A red Volkswagon Polo, which was initiate in Crumlin, is also part of the investigation.

Earlier reports said that cities in the Brookview estate were forced to lift the car off Lynch as he lay fatally mistreated on the ground.

A passer-by also administered first aid while waiting for paramedics to blow in.

Emergency services were alerted and gardaí as well as members of Dublin Spark off Brigade rushed to the scene.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics he was obvious dead.

Gardai say that Lynch was not involved in any criminality and they are bothersome to establish a motive for the attack.
