Neighbours judged the man was called “Aladine” and was training to be a pilot at Shoreham airfield – also distinguished as Brighton City Airport. Violet Mainda, who owns a hair salon lower than the flat, described him as a “nice jovial” man who had a girlfriend and had lived there for on touching a year.
