The Recipe One ace spent Christmas Day with his family and shared a post of the toddler in a pink and purple gown.
While the kid is clearly revelling in his new garments, his uncle was so unimpressed he felt the need to appropriation his disappointment with his 5.7 million instagram followers.
In a caption alongside the video, Lewis Hamilton, 32, encouraged: “Why are you wearing a princess dress? Is this what you got for Christmas?
“Why did you ask for a princess equip for Christmas, boys don’t wear princess dresses!”

Hamilton has since removed the video from his Instagram story, but the tidal wave of backlash has been deafening with uncountable calling for the star to be stripped of his MBE.
“I feel sorry for @LewisHamilton – what a nauseous upbringing and awful people surrounding him since that made him cogitate on that was an appropriate thing to say to a child who was just living their maximum effort life. Strip him of that MBE. @MercedesAMG your brand is tarnished,” tweeted one riled societal media user.
That was followed by: “1) Why would you want to scoff at your clearly delighted nephew on Christmas? 2) Why would you privation to make that public? 3) Boys can wear princess accoutres, or skirts, or anything they want.”
Hamilton be opposite backlash from angry followers for the Instagram postA third noted: “As an F1 fan I am totally appalled by @LewisHamilton’s shaming of his young family member. Long green clearly can’t buy kindness and acceptance!” before another agreed: “Publicly calumniating your OWN NEPHEW?! How humiliating for that kid.”
One more disappointed follower suspirationed: “Strip him of his MBE?”
Political commentator Owen Jones snapped: “From tax sidestep to trying to internet shame his little nephew, Lewis Hamilton in reality is the full package isn’t he.”

Critics are area for Hamilton to be stripped of his MBEComedian Matt Lucas added: “Today we experienced Lewis Hamilton prefers masc guys.”
The scathing views came in thick and fast, though he was defended by one fan who wrote: “Can you imagine a spear politician or lawyer wearing a dress in court/on tv? Of course not. Because it order ridiculous.
“Same with kids! Nothing wrong with requiring a bit of fun on Christmas I guess but also nothing wrong with telling kids how to put on ones Sunday best clothes.”
Hamilton has since issued a grovelling apology for his comments in a lengthy Warble post which read: “Yesterday I was playing around with my nephew and realised that my warrants were inappropriate so I removed the post. I meant no harm and did not mean to outrage anyone at all. I love that my nephew feels free to express himself as we all should.
“My deepest apologies for my conduct as I realise it is really not acceptable for anyone, no matter where you are from, to marginalise or stereotype anyone.
“I have in the offing always been in support of anyone living their life absolutely how they wish and I hope I can be forgiven for this lapse in judgement.”
