JK Rowling has sheltered the casting of Johnny Depp in Fantastic BeastsThe 54-year-old actor’s possess in the Harry Potter franchise spin-offs received a backlash from some devotees due to previous allegations of domestic abuse made against him.
However, the creator, 52, defended the decision in a lengthy statement on her website today, respond: “When Johnny Depp was cast as Grindelwald, I thought he’d be wonderful in the character.
