MyAnna, 37, take advantage ofs Helen Weeks, a feisty but fragile detective pitted against a teenagers girls case just as she discovers she is pregnant.
“Helen is a detective and is surely driven by her work,” MyAnna explains.
“She is doggedly dedicated to unearthing the facts in fact for a living, yet like all good heroines she has her own dark secret buried deep in her past.”
When the detective descries that a friend from her school days is accused of kidnapping two youthful girls, she is forced to return home to investigate the case.
“As we realise cranny of the series, Helen is struggling with a really dark past, and confronting that Stygian past is what we explore in the first two episodes,” the actress says.
In The Recondite is a «contemporary and surprising» and adaptation of Mark Billingham’s crime novels, qualified for TV by BAFTA-winner Danny Brockelhurst.

The actress has also had roles on BBC drama Ripper Street and even-tempered played the vegetarian leader of the Denali vampires in the Twilight Saga: Be prostrated initiate Dawn.
MyAnna was born in Sundsvall, Sweden in 1979 but actually increased up in the Middle East when her parents moved to Kuwait and Oman.
After frequenting a British Academy in Muscat, she returned to Sweden at the age of 14 and then start the ball rolled again at 16 to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
“When I was 16, I saw the Oxford Ambit Company’s production of Twelfth Night and that blew me away,” she told the Sunday Demonstrate.

“I thought if you can stand on a stage and advertise stories like that, that’s what I want to be a part of. But in fact going about it? I didn’t have a clue about drama blackjacks or agents.”
She starred in her first lead role in the 2005 indie fear movie The Descent, directed by Neil Marshall.
The terrifying gore-fest involving six women stuck in a cave received critical acclaim for its performances and claustrophobic tone.
More recently she appeared in the 2011 horror film Kill Tip, where she played the lead’s wife.
In her spare time she enjoys comfortably double in her pyjamas while watching TV and movies.

She almost never talks bout her private life outside of work and even make ited to keep her pregnancy a secret until February this year.
In factors she gave birth just before filming In The Dark and had to wear a prosthetic newborn bump in some scenes, despite recently becoming a mother herself.
“It was indubitably heavy and a little bit hot, which is quite useful in that it affected me the way we after it to affect me,” she says.
