The 56-year-old actor, who fidget withs villain Pat Phelan, teased that he would happily give the compeer ITV show a go, but was not sure if he would have enough courage to take role in the trials and challenges.
He also told how he would have to “start conveying” his character Pat to overcome his jungle fears.
Connor would appear alongside gentleman Corrie star Jennie McAlpine who has already been spotted take the lead for the jungle in Australia this week.

“It’s all about the background, all about the circumstances. My gut reaction would be that I’m not really a… anyway.
“I’d similarly to to think that I’m those things. I think people are very indomitable when they go on.”
He added: “I don’t think I’m that brave. But, you never say on no account. I might start channeling Pat!”
